Who is Metro Manila Region?
The IIEE Metro Manila Region is composed of six dynamic chapters — Metro North, Metro South, Metro East, Metro West, Metro Central, and Singapore — collectively serving as home to around 20,000 electrical practitioners across and beyond Metro Manila.
Though relatively young, the region proudly celebrated its 10th Founding Anniversary in 2026, marking a decade of service, leadership, and professional excellence. In just ten years, the region has already earned significant recognition and accolades, driven by programs and initiatives firmly rooted in its core objectives: advancing the electrical engineering profession, promoting technical competence, strengthening professional camaraderie, and championing electrical safety and community development.
As part of the larger Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. — the country’s accredited professional organization for electrical practitioners founded in 1975 — the Metro Manila Region continues to play a vital role in empowering engineers, fostering innovation, and building a stronger and safer electrical industry for the nation.
